Here at Witherspoon Ranch Arena you can get your boots dirty in all different types of ways!  WRA is the perfect destination to hold your next event.  Whether your Turning a Barrel, Learning to Ride, Having a Horse Riding Birthday Party and Having Happy Birthday Sang to you, Enjoying a day with a country style family reunion, Showing your employees how much you appreciate them with a horse ranch appreciation day or Saying "I DO" western style, WRA is here to make sure you are enjoying yourself with whatever event or celebration you are here for!

 

Witherspoon Ranch Arena is an equestrian facility located on 45 beautiful secluded acres in Kaufman, Texas just 30 miles east of Dallas.  Here at WRA, we take great pride in caring for the needs of our customers and their horses. Our ranch arena which includes plenty of seating area, a large parking area with RV hook ups for your living quarters horse trailer, 13 indoor stalls, 12 covered outdoor stalls with runs, 4 covered stalls behind arena for horses or rough stock, 7 large turn out areas with covered sheds, electric walker, 2 grooming areas, 3 wash bay areas, 1 large and 1 small lighted outdoor round pen, bathroom facilities and much more.  Here at WRA we can host any event whether its equine or country related.  Concessions area available along with a PA system announcers booth. 

 

Besides horse boarding, horse riding lessons, trail riding, horse training, horse motel with rv hook ups, have a horse riding birthday party, corporate retreats, weddings,  employment appreciation, arena rental, therapeutic equine, after school programs, special group retreats, boy scout or girl scout retreats, we also offer events and shows in our main arena!  Team Roping,  Calf roping events & lessons, Team penning, Barrel Racing events & lessons, Clinics, and Fun shows are just the beginning!

 

We provide excellent boarding accommodations and the best of care for your horse in a scenic, quiet, rural setting. Choose between full, partial or self care boarding where your horse can enjoy daily turn out in our pastures.  We offer a beautiful covered arena to protect you from wet weather or the summer sun. Boarding here means you can ride comfortably all year long!  Our other riding options include 2 round pens, beautiful shaded roads and the  pasture area.

In addition to our excellent accommodations, we have a professional trainer on site. We offer riding lessons in Western discipline.  We can break your young horse to ride, fix problems with your horse or tune-up your older horse. We specialize in training Quarter horses.
